About Me
My name is Alissa Dorman. I am a professional photographer in Broomfield Colorado. My primary focus is on High School Seniors, headshots, and Pets. Most of my headshot and pet photo sessions are done in my studio however my senior sessions are done on location and in studio.
My Background: I grew up in New Jersey. I have a husband and two teenage boys along with two dogs and two chickens. I started falling in love with photography in New Jersey when my boys were very young. In 2015 my family moved to Colorado. I started taking photography classes shortly after we moved here. I worked for a school photography company for a while and then decided that it was time to go out on my own. When my family moved into our home in December of 2021 I had the opportunity to create a photography studio on our property.
I am a member of the PPA (Professional Photography of America) and I recently received my Professional Photographers of America Certification. I am a member of the PPC (Professional Photographers of Colorado) and of the Sue Bryce Portrait Masters Education system. I feel like continuing education is a must in this industry and therefore go to conferences and classes when the opportunity presents itself.
My goal for you on your special day is to make memories that last a lifetime. We want you to look back on your time at the studio with fond and fun memories and hopefully you will enjoy your photo session so much you will return for years to come.
